When Does the Fun Actually Start?

Talking about having fun is not the same as experiencing it.

You can’t enjoy a game until you start playing it.

So if you are seeking to detect fun in an activity, you better start doing it. You can’t find out if you’ll enjoy a book until you actually read it. You can’t have fun in a self-motivational game until you jot down your ideas and test them out.

And here is another thing:

Talking about having fun is not the same as having it. And thinking that something should be fun is not the same as experiencing it.

Only by playing a game will you determine whether it is fun for you at this moment or not.

There is a difference between thinking something would be fun, either because others do it or…
